Bob and I came to Port Ludlow to look for a possible place to retire. We had scouted out several other towns in the state of Washington, but nothing had that "WOW" factor. After touring many houses in the resort town of Port Ludlow, we were feeling a bit discouraged. Some too old, some too big or too small, most in dire need of extensive upgrades.

Then we walked into a brand new home built by Port Ludlow Custom Homes and both went "WOW" at the same instant. This single level gem was far above anything we had seen. Steve and Mindy thought of everything!

Walking through the grand front door we step into a spacious living room that boasts high ceilings and recessed lighting along with four skylights that welcome a flood of natural light. In front of us there is a wall of glass sliders and windows leading the eye to a pristinely manicured back yard embraced by a majestic forest scene.

Just off the living room, we walk into a family area with the most gorgeous maple wood floors. The kitchen is adjoined to this room giving a wide-open, expansive feel. The solid cherry wood cabinets are divinelycomplimented by luscious, tri colored granite countertops. The maple flooring continues throughout the kitchen and all of the appliances are a satiny stainless steel.

The master bedroom is spacious with an "on suite" bath that is graced with cherry wood cabinetry, rich granite, and a Jacuzzi tub. The guest bedrooms are good sized with a lovely guest bath located between them. The formal dining room and the study are elegant with their tray ceilings and sable and tan carpeting.

The quality of construction and attention to detail is superb. And, Steve and Mindy did not sell a house and walk away either - they made sure that everything was to our liking and that all was working properly. To say that we are happy here would be a huge understatement - WE FOUND OUR DREAM HOME!
